Clinical Philosophy
A Different Way of Understanding Healing
Somatic Structural Family Therapy™ (SSFT™) is an innovative framework that brings the body, relationships, culture, and wider systems into the conversation. It understands healing as both personal and collective—supporting neuroaffective healing, physiological safety, and autonomic co-regulation while honoring ancestral resilience.
The work centers intersectional safety and culturally inclusive family therapy practices, helping people understand how relational structures shape wellbeing and how systemic health can be cultivated with care.
“Healing is not only about changing patterns. It is also about creating safety within the systems that hold us.”
